Day 1: Arrival in Ulaanbaatar (UB) (D/4*Hotel)

(Beijing-UB flight time approx. 2 hours 10 minutes)

Welcome to Ulaanbaatar, a capital city of Mongolia. When you arrive at Chinggis Khaan International Airport using international flights, you will meet a guide and a driver to guide you on your trip to Mongolia, and go downtown Ulaanbaatar, a romantic city where past and present coexist. Go downtown and take a quick city tour. Visit the Zaisan Observatory, which offers a panoramic view of downtown Ulaanbaatar. Explore and take commemorative photos at Sukhbaatar Square, a symbol of Mongolia’s modern and contemporary history. After dinner, check in hotel and rest.

Day 2: Ulaanbaatar – Murun (Khuvsgul province) (BLD/ Tourist Ger camp)

(Flight time: About 1 hour and 20 minutes)

After breakfast, go to Chinggis Khaan International Airport in Ulaanbaatar and board domestic flights to Murun.

11:40 After the arrival at Murun Airport, have lunch and a brief shopping. 

Murun - Khatgal (Distance: About 100km, Time: About 1 and a half hours) After lunch, go to nearby town Khatgal. Which is the south gate of Khuvsgul lake is a small town, and is opened to sell canned fish and smoked dishes made from fish in Khuvsgul lake and souvenirs made using reindeer horns in summer. 

Khatgal –Khuvsgul accommodation (Distance: About 40km, Time: About 1 hour) Have dinner and free time after arriving at Ger camp. Khuvsgul lake called the blue pearl of Mongolia has a width of 136km and stretches to the Taiga climate in Siberia. It is very popular as one of the Mongolia’s best resorts and a beautiful natural environment. Travelers can enjoy a variety of experiences such as horseback riding trekking, hiking, fishing, boat tours and more on the mountains and rivers around the lake overlooking clear lake. There are fishes such as lobster and sturgeon in the lake. There are about 200 species of flora and fauna around the lake. 

Day 3: Schedule for Khuvsgul-White lake (Visit Reindeer family) (BLD/ Tourist Ger camp)

After breakfast, move to White Lake. (Time required: About 5-6 hours). Go to the secret island in the lake, visit Tsaatan village which is the least populous of the Mongolian reindeer herder’s tribes. Experience the Santa Claus's Rudolph reindeers and learn how nomadic family lives in the winter wonderland. Dinner and rest in teepees which is similar to reindeer herders live. 

Day 4: Tsagaan nuur-Renchinlkhumbe soum (BLD/Guest house)

After breakfast, learn how to tame reindeers and learn to cook at reindeer family. After lunch, move to Renchinlkhumbe soum for about 5 hours. Go to downtown and stay at guest house.

Day 5: Renchinlkhumbe soum-Khuvsgul lake (BLD/Tourist ger camp)

After breakfast, drive to Khuvsgul Lake for about 3-4 hours. On the way, visit the Jarganty River, which doesn't freeze in winter time and the landscape is transformed into a real winter wonderland, with crisp, clear skies and a serene silence that is only interrupted by the soft crunch of snow. Arrive at ger camp and have a special Mongolian dinner which is traditional Mongolian barbecue dish of meat and vegetables cooked with hot stones in a sealed pot. After lunch, horseback riding trekking for about 1 hour along the lakeside. Experience playing in the ice on lake. After dinner, watch a romantic campfire and Mongolian shamanism performance. 

Day 6: Murun town tour– Ulaanbaatar (BLD/ 4*Hotel) 

After breakfast, go to Murun town and see the only 50-degree and 100-degree view of the Earth. After lunch, a brief tour of Murun town. Go to the airport and prepare for boarding to Ulaanbaatar city.

(Distance: About 100km, Time: About 2 and a half hours, Flight time: About 1 hour and 20 minutes)

Arrival at Chinggis Khaan International Airport and move to the city center. After dinner check in hotel and rest.

Day 7: Departure Ulaanbaatar (B)

After the hotel breakfast, have a free schedule or go to airport. End of the South Gobi +Khuvsgul tour.
